Question:
I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 with the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bag system. Is it appropriate to get a weight distribution hitch with my existing air bag system or would they conflict with each other? Is there a product that provides sway control without weight distribution?

Great questions!
It is appropriate to use both an air bag kit and a weight distribution system (WDS), depending on the WDS. Most of them say in the instructions whether they are compatible or not and they will give instructions on how to set everything up - which usually entails leveling everything out with the air bags and then installing the WDS. There are sway control setups that exist outside of a WDS but since you can use both I recommend going that route.
I really like the Blue Ox TrackPro because it comes with everything you need and has different adjustments to help accommodate different trailer styles. You'll need to find the total tongue weight (TTW) of your trailer setup and then choose a WDS with a tongue weight range that your TTW falls in the middle of. Your TTW is the tongue weight of your fully loaded trailer (shoot for 10-15% of your total trailer weight) plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your Dodge Ram. Here are the options for the TrackPro:
TTW:
200 lbs - 600 lbs - # BLU36FR
600 lbs - 800 lbs - # BLU47FR
800 lbs - 1,000 lbs - # BLU77FR
800 lbs - 1,000 lbs - # BLU87FR (9-Hole Shank)
1,000 lbs - 1,300 lbs - # BLU27FR
