How to Determine Fit of Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter for Recessed Ball

Question:

From the center of my ball to the edge of my recessed valley it measures 6 1/2 inches and 5 inches from center of ball to side walls and the ball sticks up about an 1/8th to a 1/4 inch over the bed.. would this work for me.

The square plate that attaches to the tube and fits in the recess for your gooseneck ball on the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550046 measures 8" long x 5" wide. Based on your measurements this will fit.

The other requirement is that the top of the hitch ball is not more than 13/16" above the non recessed portion of your bed. Since your ball sticks up 1/8"-1/4" above the bed you also meet this requirement, so you will be able to use this adapter.
