Can 2022 Toyota Venza Tow Trailer & Trailer Hitch & Wiring Fit

Question:

Can you clear up the confusion around whether or not the 2022 Toyota Venza is rated for towing? I see a video on your site of a hitch being installed on this vehicle, but the Toyota website does not show a towing capacity for the Venza, and LOTS of information on line say its NOT rated for towing. VERY confused!

Your 2022 Toyota Venza can tow a trailer; I checked out the owners manual and on page 193 it says Toyota "does not recommend" towing a trailer, directly underneath where it says, "If your vehicle will be towing a trailer, load from your trailer will be transferred to your vehicle."

So yes, you can tow a trailer, but they do not give a general towing capacity so you'll want to check the "Steps for Determining Correct Load Limit" to determine the capacity of your '22 Venza. If you do decide to tow, the best option for a hitch and wiring are the following:

- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C89UR

- Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C57ER

I verified both parts will fit your 2022 Toyota Venza with the manufacturer.
