Question:
I have a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 Z71. My goal is to improve towing stability and performance without affecting unloaded ride. I will be towing a 6K lb boat. Ive narrowed down my options to the Firestone sport ride air bags and the Roadmaster Active Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit. Which one would you recommend or would you recommend something other than those two options?

Both the Firestone # F2320 SportRide and the RoadActive Suspension (RAS) # RAS54FR will provide support for the rear suspension to help counteract the sag in the rear suspension that occurs when a trailer's tongue weight is applied.
However, the RAS will also improve stability and control by eliminating axle wrap, reducing sway and body roll and improve traction during acceleration and braking. The system will only affect the vehicle's ride when the rear suspension is under load and unlike air helper springs, there's nothing to puncture or leak.
As long as your truck isn't equipped with the Quadrasteer option, the RAS # RAS54FR is what I'd recommend for your situation, as it will tick all the boxes you'd mentioned.
I've linked to some videos that you might find helpful. One explains how the RAS works, the other shows a typical installation.
