Do I get more support with HD RAS on my GMC 1500? Is it better than STD? What model number would I order?

The RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit part # RAS4611 for 2,000 lbs or part # RAS54FR for 3,000 lbs are both great options for a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500. The heavy duty model does indeed offer more support but if you don't need it that will simply add rigidity which causes ride discomfort. For standard trailer pulling I simply recommend the 2,00 lb model part # RAS4611 for the best mix of support and comfort. If you were using an in-bed camper or hauling a heavy fifth wheel trailer for example then I'd recommend the 3,000 lb model part # RAS54FR.
