I have an older Thule rear mount platform bike rack. Model 916XTR This is older. I need to know if the spars noted in your QandA will fit my rack. I would also need the correct size bolts if these parts work for me. Thanks

Yes, the Replacement Bottom Spar Hanger for Thule T2 Classic Bike Platform Rack # 753358402 and the Replacement Top Spar Hanger for Thule T2 Classic Bike Platform Rack # 853595202 will work for your Thule T2 Platform Bike Carrier # TH916XTR (DISCONTINUED).
The hardware needed is (8) M8 x 1.25 x 25mm bolts # 853-5976, and (8) flat washers # 951081654.
