How Does the Pollak 7-Way Vehicle End Connector Come Apart
Published 09/16/2009 >
Question:
Can I install wire pigtails to this connector. The running light connection on my old one seems to have come loose, but I cannot see how to take it apart. Removing the two screws on the side did not let it come loose.

Most of the 7-way connectors, like the 7-Way Plastic Car End, item # PK12-707E, come apart by removing the two screws on the sides of the connector and then loosening a very small set screw at the back of the connector. Once this set screw is loosened or removed the connector should pull straight apart.
