Removing the 7-Way Trailer Wiring Plug from the Housing, 2010 Chevy Silverado with Factory 7-Way

Question:
Hello...How do you remove the wiring plug from a 7 pin connector ?? This is the vehicle factory 7 pin connector on a 2010 Chev Silverado. I have tried to pull it apart but cannot get it to release. I have looked for some tab or something that you might have to pry on but did not find one....Thank You for any help you can give me....

From what I understand of the 2010 Chevy Silverado, you first will need to release the connector and housing from the bumper. Pull it out, wiring and all, just enough that you have a little room to work. The housing should then just be able to be pulled away from the plug. There may be a little tab or lever on the top that you will need to hold down when pulling the housing away from the plug, like in the video linked below on a 2009 model. Make sure that you do not pull on the wires themselves as this might cause a loose connection in the wiring.
