Is there a reason the Redarc controllers dont show up on a search for controllers compatible with a 2020 Chevy Equinox with factory tow pkg?

A brake controller isn't a vehicle specific item.

The Redarc brake controllers such as the Tow-Pro Liberty, # RED24FR will fit your 2020 Chevy Equinox.

Vehicles equipped with the tow package will have blunt-ended tow package wiring located behind the side panel of the center console on the driver's side next to the gas pedal. You'll be looking for a bundle of 4 blunt ended wires that are blue, black, white/blue striped and white/green stripe.

In addition to the # RED44FR Tow-Pro Liberty brake controller, you'll also need the # RED69FR wiring pigtail. The pigtail wires to the tow package wiring as follows:

• Red/Green tow package wire to Black pigtail wire
• Blue tow package wire to Blue pigtail wire
• Black tow package wire to white pigtail wire
• White/Blue Striped tow package wire to red pigtail wire
