Question:
I want to purchase the electric trailer brake assemblies LH/RH for my TT. My TT has a dexter azle 6842738 with hubs marked 8-247. Would the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit Item # 23-26-27 be the correct part? Thanks

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-26-27 will work with your 8-247 10" drums on your Dexter Axle. The brake kit will contain both the left and right brake assemblies for 1 axle.
You should consider stepping up to the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-468-469. These brakes will self adjust which will give you more even and consistent braking and will often increase the life of the brakes. It also saves you from having to adjust the brakes every 3,000 miles.
