What size are the U-Bolt slots in the bracket?? What size diameter U-bolt do I need?? Thanks

The Dutton-Lainson Roller Bunk Bracket, part # DL21742, fits Dutton-Lainson Roller Bunks # DL21740 and DL21741. Four are needed to mount a pair of roller bunks.

My contact at Dutton-Lainson advises that u-bolts are not specifically required to install these brackets on your boat trailer, but you certainly can use them. You can use hardware of your own preference both to attach the bunk roller to the bracket (nut, bolt and lock washer) and to attach the bracket to the wood bunks on your trailer (wood screws). Stainless steel is best, especially if you are boating in salt water.

I have attached a photo of the bracket to indicate its various measurements.
