How is Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Positioned on Trailer Frame

Question:

What is the necessary clearance needed between the leaf spring towards the center of the camper? I have two water tanks above my axles and concerned about fitment.

The exact clearance for where the shocks of the Comfort Ride part # RM-2460 need to be is hard to say since it depends on the trailer. Basically you mount the shock to the u-bolt plate and then you line it up with the frame where it would meet it with the shock in it's restrained length which is 14-1/2 inches. That means there's too many variables for me to be able to tell you exactly what your clearance would be.
