Question:
Can you operate these jacks Manually using 12 bolts only, no computer
asked by: Jim K
Expert Reply:
Yes, the Replacement C-Jack for Lippert Electric Ground Control TT # LC404488 can be operated manually if a switch happens to go bad or you lose power.
To operate manually, you'll first need to disconnect the battery before continuing. Next, disconnect one of the wires from the motor to prevent back feeding.
Next, insert the Replacement Manual Crank Handle for Lippert 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear # LC119226 over the coupler and pin at the end of the stabilizer jack. The slot in the end of the crank handle accommodates the pin on the coupler to allow the manual extension/retraction of the stabilizer jack.
Finally, rotate the handle clockwise and begin extending jack, or counter-clockwise to retract jack.
