How To Install Trailer Brake Controller On 2004 Toyota Sequoia with Tow Package

I have a 2004 Toyota Sequoia SR5 with factory installed tow package. How hard will it be for me to install a brake controller? Thank you!

It will be very easy to install a trailer brake controller on a 2004 Toyota Sequoia if you have the factory tow package as there will be a plug under the dash you can use for easy installation. In order to use this I recommend going with the Tekonsha BRAKE-EVN Trailer Brake Controller part # TK63VR which is a great cost effective option which can then be plugged in with the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3040-P for a zero splice install.
The plugs for the controller is located under the dash to the left of the emergency brake pedal on the main harness behind the kick panel. I have attached a video below on this as well.
