The 1-1/4" Receiver Attachment for Stealth Hitches Rack Receiver or Trailer Hitch # 391RR1 you reference is an optional attachment you can purchase for your Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # 391AUDA417. Since # 391AUDA417 comes with 2" x 2" receiver opening, you could purchase this attachment to give yourself a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" opening.

This attachment will not work in the opening you're referring to on your 2003 Chevrolet SSR.
