Question:
Just bought Tekonsha Primus IQ and Tekonshas Acura OEM Wiring Harness 3028-P from you - have 2017 Acura with factory tow package so seems like should be easy install but called a few local RV shops who dont want to install/mount. Say theyve had problems with brake controller interfering with ABS and throwing error codes in car. Ive seen nothing about this online. Have you heard of such problems? Can you recommend where to have installed Acura dealer says they dont install these. Hope I dont need to return for something like Curt Echo

I have asked other members of the team, no one recalls having feedback for issues of what you describe. If your 2017 Acura MDX came from the factory with a fully functional 7-way RV plug already installed, the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller, # TK90160 is a simple plug-n-play installation using the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter, # 3028-P. This harness plugs into a port beneath your dash and connects to the four wires of the brake controller. It is designed to plug directly into your electric brake controller for the simplest installation possible.
