Replacement Taillight For 2018 Thor Chateau 31W Motorhome

Question:
Does the replacement taillight, CE44VR, that is listed on etrailer.com fit a 2018 Thor Chateau 31W? The website states that there is no hardware included. Where would I get the hardware that goes with that taillight? I removed the taillight I currently have on there and the mounting screws are rusted and need to be replaced, not to mention, three of them will not secure to the body.

The Triple LED Trailer Tail Light # CE44VR does appear to be the same one that came on your 2018 Thor Chateau 31W. I do always recommend verifying replacement parts with your originals as I have personally seen identical campers have different parts installed from the factory due to shortages.
This light is 14" long, 6-7/8" tall, and 1" deep. The mounting holes are in a 13" by 5-7/8" rectangle. I have linked an image with these dimensions marked.
Hardware is not included as different hardware is going to be required for different campers. It is recommend to us #6 diameter hardware to secure the light on your Thor motorhome. Since you mentioned that 3 of them will not secure to the body you will likely need to use some type of hollow wall fastener from a local hardware store. When the camper was made a flat sheet metal panel was placed in the wall where the light will mount. It sounds like the holes have either been enlarged or possibly rust damaged the holes.
