Question:

I have a 2021 GMC 2500HD with a 7foot bed. I have a Bakflip MX4 now. Switching to a 5th wheel trailer. Looks like the cover may be too long in the flat closed position up by the rear window and the 5th wheel may hit it. If I could sell this used and buy the Bak X2 or 4 rollup, will the trailer be able to turn without hitting it? Is there a market for less than 1 year old Bakflips?

If you wanted a tonneau cover that would have clearance for your fifth wheel trailer's overhang when open you'd need to go with one like the Pace Edwards UltraGroove Retractable Tonneau # PE68CV that fits your 2021 GMC Sierra 2500 6-3/4 ft bed which stores rolled up underneath the bed rail surface. Anything that ends up on top of the bed rails would potentially interfere with the trailer overhang.
