Question:

Hello, I have a 2020 Chevy Colorado with an ARE shell. The shell has two 54inch rhino rack HD crossbars mounted on Yakima tracks. I currently use the passenger side to carry the rhino rack batwing awning. Id like to mount a rhino rack pioneer platform on top of the HD crossbars and still keep space for the awning. I believe I need platform RR35TB and HD mounting kit RR43105. Am I missing anything? Thanks

In order to mount the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Roof Tray part # RR35TB to Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Roof Rack Crossbars you need the Pioneer Platform Mounting Kit for Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Crossbars part # RR43105. This adapter attaches to the channels in the bottom of the platform and then mounts to the channels in the top of the crossbars so it will be very low profile. You'll need two kits total for the platform.

If you don't have space on the crossbar you can actually mount the Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning part # RR33100 to the platform.
