Question:
How does the dexter EZ flex hold up to saltwater and marine use? I want to install on a heavy boat trailer, 16,000lbs dry with trailer, launched 1-2x week in the Pacific Ocean. But I’m worried about how it will hold up to the elements. Or, am I better off getting the dexter heavy duty suspension with the greaseable equalizers. I want to cut down on the vibration, squeaking, and jerking on the truck. It has new 6k triple axles, 3k leaf springs, heavy duty shackles, and wet bolts.

The Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-656-00 is not primarily designed to be used in saltwater but it will hold up about as well as your regular equalizers. The bronze finish will help to resist corrosion. In order to prolong the life of the E-Z Flex, I recommend rinsing everything down with fresh water after you take the trailer out. This will help all of the components of your trailer and help prevent corrosion.
I would recommend this kit over something like the Dexter Heavy-Duty Suspension Kit # K71-449-00. Especially since you are looking to cut down on vibration and jerking on your truck. The E-Z Flex will help with a smooth ride where the heavy-duty suspension kit will only provide you with more durable parts. Either way I would say to rinse with fresh water.
I have attached an installation video for your reference.
