Which Direction Should Grease Fitting of Dexter Equalizer Face
Updated 01/18/2022 | Published 01/17/2022 >
Question:
I bought the K71-449-00 kit from you. I have not found any directions on which way the grease holes are to aim? The 2 bolt piece is fixed to the shackle. Grease holes cant point 2 ways? The last kit I bought in 2009 all of the bolts were loose and not fixed on the shackles like these. They can face toward the leaf spring or away when installed?

Helpful Expert Reply:
I would face the grease fitting of the # K71-449-00 towards the rear of the trailer as that would limit the possibility of dirt or grime from getting into the grease fitting.
