What Axle Spacing will the Dexter Heavy-Duty Tandem-Axle Trailer Suspension Kit # K71-449-00 Fit

Published 10/28/2015

Question:

I would like to upgrade to this kit but my axles are only 33inch apart. Also the pivot is only 5and3/4inch centers. Do you make a kit to fit that? 2007, Keystone - Springdale, 256RLL, 3500 lb axles

The Dexter Heavy-Duty Tandem-Axle Trailer Suspension Kit # K71-449-00 that you referenced is designed for tandem axles with a 35 inch axle spacing and springs that are 1-3/4 inches in width. You would need to move the suspension hangers in the front and in the back on your trailer to use this kit.

For an equalizer that is 5-3/4 inches from bolt hole center to bolt hole center from left to right you would want the part # TREQ104. For wet bolts you would need part # 126B2, for shackles # TRSL225.
