I have a axle from a United XLV trailer with a 2-7/8inch axle tube that needs a new 4inch spindle. Do you have a replacement for this?

Expert Reply:
To find the correct spindle for your United XLV trailer you'll want to check the number stamped into the bearings. For example, the #84 Spindle for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles - 2" Diameter # TRU24FR is compatible with with # L68149 inner bearing and # L44649 outer bearing.
If the bearing numbers have worn off you can determine what they are by using some calipers # PTW80157 and measuring the spindle in the locations shown in the diagram below to determine the diameters to find the correct match.
