Question:
I have a 2022 Jayco Redhawk Class C on the Ford E-450 Chassis. I would like recommendations for suspension improvements, sway bars and steering stabilizers. I have not driven this much yet but can tell I want to do something to better the setup. This is not the first class C I have owned so I know they aren't the best from factory. My last one had air bags and sway bars, that helped a lot.

For your 2022 Jayco Redhawk Motorhome Built on the E-450 Chassis, I suggest the following:
1, Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer for Class C Motor Homes, # RM-RBK24-RSSC
2, Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar, # RM-1139-176
3, Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar, # RM-1139-197
4, SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle, # SSR-106-47-1
5, SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Front Axle, # SSF-106-47
A steering stabilizer is good addition to a Class C motorhome. The E series van has been around a long time, receiving many updates with its steering and suspension being more than adequate with the van body on the chassis. However, when coach builders place a significantly different body on the chassis that obviously changes the dynamics and many OEM coach builders fail to upgrade/enhance those affected steering and suspension components that are now less effective. Anti-sway bars will also make significant improvement in this area in addition to a steering stabilizer. The effectiveness of anti-sway bars is the diameter and quality of the steel they are constructed from. Roadmaster claims that for every 1/8" increase in diameter there is roughly a 30% increase in torsional resistance (body roll). Their aftermarket anti-sway bars are generally 3/8" to 3/4" increase over factory and constructed with 4140 chromoly steel. For the E Series chassis motorhome and suspension upgrades my preference is to suggest Roadmaster items and I always start with the front and rear anti-sway bars as well as the steering stabilizer as first recommendations, all three at the same time if possible.
The Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Brackets for Class C Motor Homes, # RM-RBK24-RSSC is built with sturdy steel spring that keeps your vehicle in line by constantly working to maintain its position. Mount it between the steering mechanism and the chassis for a tight connection that will minimize wander and correct oversteering compensating and returns your vehicle to center.
The Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar, # RM-1139-176 has a diameter of 1-3/8" and constructed of thick 4140 chromoly steel for superior strength over that of the OEM installed bar. It is not just the slightly increased diameter of the aftermarket anti-sway bar over that of the OEM that improves handling, but that of the 4140-steel used and the improved polyurethane bushings. This will minimize sway and driver fatigue by improving the stability and driveability of your motorhome. The bar on this sturdy, effective anti-sway system mounts to the front axle and to the frame to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll.
The Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar, # RM-1139-147 is a 1-1/2" diameter bar constructed with the same 4140 chromoly steel and polyurethane bushings as that of the recommended front antisway bar. This includes heavy-gauge mounting hardware, easy-to-follow instructions and bushing lubricant. This attaches to the rear axle and to chassis using the weight of axle to brace frame in turns and is engineered to avoid interference with most popular aftermarket add-ons and accessories.
The SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle, # SSR-106-47-1 has a weight capacity, at 50-percent compression, of 5,000 lbs. The progressive load control springs compress according to the weight of your cargo work independently from each other to compensate for off-center loads and will work well with the anti-sway bars to further reduce body roll during sharp turns. If your Motorhome has dual rear wheels you will need to verify that you have at least 7" clearance between the inside edge of the tire and the frame.
The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Front Axle, # SSF-106-47 have a weight capacity, at 50-percent compression, of 1,000 lbs. A heavy front load can cause front-end sag as your factory suspension compresses under the weight of the additional load from the overhead bunk of your Class C.
I've attached links to product review and installation videos that will hopefully assist you in making an informed decision on enhancements.
Happy Camping and please follow-up with any additional questions.
