Question:
Hello just wondering if a 12v power cable or Jack is available for a furrion rv back up camera for a trailer which is not pre wired. The back of the camera has a 2.5 x 5.5 male jack sticking out for power and ground

Expert Reply:
Since your trailer wasn't prewired for your Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision - Rear Mount - 5" Screen # FOS05TASF you can use the Replacement Shark Fin Camera Mounting Bracket for Furrion Vision S RV Camera Systems # FRCBRKT-BL to install the rear camera. You have two options when it come to powering the camera; the first being tying into the reverse lights, which will activate the camera when you put your tow vehicle in reverse and the second being tying into the running lights, which will allow you to activate the camera anytime by simply turning your tow vehicle's lights on.
The cable that comes with the shark fin mount has a two wire pigtail end and a female jack connection for the camera to plug into.
I've attached an installation video below to help you in this process.
