Question:
Can this unit be mounted horizontally? Can it be installed where the RV water heater is being replaced?

Per the manufacturer, Excel, the Excel RV Tankless On-Demand Water Heater - Gas - Electric Ignition - Ventless - 38,000 Btu # EX93FR has to be installed upright with the vent facing upwards. Other than that the only other installation restriction is to not install it in a bathroom or bedroom so you can install it wherever you have the space for it.
