Availability of Replacement Control Board for Fantastic Vent

Question:

I have an existing fantastic vent with wall mounted controls. Installed in a 2016 Cedar Creek Hathaway edition. It appears the circuit board has gone, the control lights up when powered up and a beep comes from fan but doesn’t open. I have tried a known good lift motor, but lid won’t open. Lifted lid manually and fan doesn’t come on. Is product #FV807357 the correct replacement for my unit? Thank you.

If you have the clamp-on style, you need the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent Assembly Upgrade Kit # FV807357. If you have the high or low style base you want the # FV807359. The upgrade kit includes the control board and is the only way to replace it since it is not sold separately. This will also give you an additional screen assembly, powered lift, and remote control.

Since you are already replacing quite a few parts, it might be a good idea to just replace the entire fan. The Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote # FV807350 comes with the powered lift. Replacing everything will likely be more cost effective in the long run compared to replacing other parts should they also fail.
