The SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box - Roof Mount - 18 cu ft - Black, part # SR7018, will not attach to the raised rails of your 2021 Subaru Forester. Most rooftop cargo boxes are designed to attach to roof rack, the roof rack will attach to your raised rails. I recommend you get something like the
Inno Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 39" Long and 42" Long - Qty 2, part # INXB100-108, and the
Inno Flush Feet for Aero Crossbars - Raised Side Rails - Qty 4, part # INXS100.
This rack has a weight limit of 140 lbs. The Inno Aero Crossbars terminate at the Inno Flush Feet, providing a more factory roof rack look. The crossbars have t-slots, so they will work with most channel mounted roof rack accessories as well as those that clamp the crossbar in a more traditional manner. The crossbars are also elliptical in shape. This helps reduce wind noise and aids with fuel efficiency.
