Question:

Is the Sportrack SR7018 long enouhg inside to fit my skis? ...which are 63 inches long. its dimensions are 63x38x19! but I know it is curved.....Our other skis are shorter, so NP.

I went out to the warehouse and measured the inside of a SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box, item # SR7018, and the longest inside measurement is 60 inches. Your 63 inch skis would fit in the box if you laid them in diagonally but not straight front to back.

You may be better off with a longer box. If so, the SportRack Horizon Cargo Box, item # SR7011, has a much longer inside dimension of 82-1/2 inches. Plenty of length for your skis, but not quite an equivelent amount of storage space as the Vista XL.

The most economical 18 cubic foot, longer style, cargo box that we have is the Yakima SkyBox 18 Cargo Box, item # Y07336. This box is super easy to attach and has high quality locks and hinge system.
