Question:

Are the storage bin options basket, box compatible with the 3 tier mega sport? Can this take a foldable tongue? What is the height of the top tier from the ground? Trying to gauge if this will fit in the garage.

I will start by saying the Plastic Storage Trunk # MPG536 and Wire Storage Basket # MPG547 will absolutely fit the Malone 3 Tier Outfitter MegaSport Trailer # MPG550-O and I actually included review videos we have with both items in said # MPG550-O trailer. Both of these can also be used behind or in front of axle, so you can technically have two installed at the same time.

Once fully assembled, the # MPG550-O will measure 86" from the bottom of the tires to the absolute top of the uppermost crossbars. This will put the trailer measurements at 14 feet 6 inches long, 86 inches wide, and 7 feet 2 inches tall.

As to the folding tongue though, due to this being an aluminum trailer, I do not recommend going this route. Aluminum has many great properties, but they will not have enough structural strength to support a folding tongue, unfortunately. Just to be sure of this, I did reach out to Malone and they also do not recommend the use of a folding tongue on their trailers.
