Question:

Top Level Cross Bars Can they be removed when not needed? Also are the tires 15 inch Radial?

You can definitely disassemble the top tier of the Malone MegaSport 2 Tier Trailer for Heavy Boats # MPG550-TH when it isn't needed. I've attached a photo showing the assembly of the top tier section. You probably wouldn't have to break it down completely, but you would need to remove those brackets that it installs on.

The tire size that comes with this trailer is 20.5 x 8.0 x 10 and it is a bias ply tire. Radial typically perform better on the highway than bias, but bias used to be the industry standard and there really is no harm in using them. In fact, this would allow you to take the trailer off the road a little so it would be easier to have the trailer closer to where you will be launching the boats if that works for your setup.
