Another question. Some locks require the lock to be locked in order to remove the key. Can you remove the key from these locks whether the lock is locked or open? Thanks.

The Valterra Replacement Cam Lock for RV Hatch Doors - Offset - 7/8" Deep # A522VP is a standard lock that uses a 751 # A524VP style key so if you had four of these style locks you would be able to use the same 751 key on all four locks.

I personally went out to the warehouse to test the Valterra Replacement Cam Lock for RV Hatch Doors # A522VP and confirmed that you will be able to remove the key whether it's in the lock or unlocked position.
