Are Trailer Bearings L44649 and LM48548 the Same

Question:

Are they the same bearing, they both are used with outer bearing L44649 and use the same inner seal. My old Holsclaw trailer has L44649 and Lm48548 combo....it seems new replacement kits include L68149. In addition my existing race are smooth and pressed in, should they be replaced or is that a wheel by wheel inspection decision. I have 1969 Holsclaw tandem roller trailer with surge brakes both axles in excellent shape but considering switching to electronic brakes as winter project....please advise!

The bearings part # L44649 and # LM48548 are not interchangeable. But since we carry both we have solutions for replacing both of them. If the races are good I would not mess with changing them.
