The P3 has storable settings for multiple trailers, and easy to read LCD display, and integrated diagnostic settings for easy troubleshooting. It can be installed without splicing using the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 22292 which plugs into a port located behind the cubby slot in the dash. You'll access the cubby from under the driver dash after you remove a few panels.
