Is your item# RM73FR the very same item from Roadmaster part # 1129-145? And you have actually installed this on a 2021 RAM 2500 8’ bed with air bags?

On the etrailer website, the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar is listed as # RM73FR and yes this is the Roadmaster 1129-145. Anything listed on this site as having a confirmed fit means it has either been installed by an etrailer Tech on site or we have been provided confirmation by the vendor that it has been installed successfully, on that year, make and model, at their location. Any item that has an installation video available has obviously been installed on site at etrailer for a confirmed fit.

For your 2021 Ram 2500, this is a fifth generation (starting in 2019) model for Ram, we do not have an installation video available. However, we have confirmed with Roadmaster that this is confirmed to work on models with factory air suspension.

This Roadmaster anti-sway bar is made of 4140 chromoly which is considerably harder and stronger than the standard 1020 steel commonly used in OEM installed components. In addition, this has a larger diameter that also increases its torsional roll stiffness along with polyurethane bushings and grommets. The effectiveness of anti-sway bars is the diameter and quality of the steel they are constructed from. Roadmaster claims that for every 1/8" increase in diameter there is roughly a 30% increase in torsional resistance (body roll). Their aftermarket anti-sway bars are generally 3/8" to 3/4" increase over factory. The Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar, # RM73FR has a diameter of 1-5/8".
