Question:
Im not sure if I have a 5 or 6 inch wheel width. Are they interchangeable?

I do not like having mix matched wheel dimensions on the same trailer as it may cause fitment issues. For this reason I generally say that they are not interchangeable. You may be able to determine your wheel size by the tire size as well. If you do measure the wheel width remember that the width is an internal measurement from bead seat to bead seat. I have included a picture below for reference.
A ST225/75R15 Tire # AM10303 requires at least a 6" wide wheel like the Dexstar Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel # AM20528DX.
A ST205/75R15 Tire # AM10244 can be mounted on either a 5", 5-1/2", 6" or 6-1/2" wheel. But depending on your trailer and axle the additional width may cause clearance issues.
I may be able to determine what size wheels you have if you can tell me what trailer they are mounted on.
