Troubleshooting A Furrion RV Water Heater That Won't Turn On

Question:

I have a 2018 Genesis 5th wheel camper I took out a 10 gallon water heater. I just purchased a furion tankless water heater from you guys about a month ago. It has 12 v DC to the black wire and the white wire is grounded. The blue wires to the thermostat are working but heater wont come on. Gas is hooked up and plenty of water. What can be my problem?

If you have the proper water pressure (7.2 PSI - 65 PSI), gas pressure (11” WCI min - 14” WCI max), and you are receiving 12VDC at your Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR93FR then you should check the thermostat for error codes and ensure that the thermostat is properly wired to the unit. If you have any loose or missing connections between the thermostat and the unit it wouldn't know to kick on and operate. If you have no connection issues the unit itself is most likely a manufacturer defect and you'll want to reach out to Furrion for a replacement.
