I have a single axle travel trailer. Will one chock prevent the trailer from rocking? Or do you need two?

For your single axle trailer you should use a pair of chocks to stabilize and block up your wheels. I recommend the Curt Wheel Chock Set item # C22800. This is a set of wheel chocks for wheels up to 17".
