Question:
Hello, I was just wondering if it is possible to get shorter length spring bars. I have an enclosed car hauler that has the point of the v-nose sitting and covering just where the bar would need to reach to. So if possible I was looking to get shorter bars that would fit just in front of the trailer nose about 2 inches shorter. Thank you

We do carry weight distribution systems with shorter spring bars, however, all of the spring bars for the Reese SC weight distribution systems are the same size. Unfortunately, they do not make shorter spring bars for this system.
Instead, I recommend looking at the Curt Short-Arm Weight Distribution Systems. These systems are available with tongue weight capacities of 600 lbs, # C17330, 800 lbs, # C17331, and 1,000 lbs, # C17332, and they each have a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 lbs. The spring bars on these systems measure 28-5/8 long.
I have attached links to all three of these systems for you to check out. If you choose to switch to one of the Curt systems, keep in mind, they do not come with a hitch ball or sway control. If you need a 2 inch hitch ball, you can use part # A-90. If you need a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball, use part # 19286. For sway control, you can use the Curt Friction Sway Bar, # 17200.
