Could Tekonsha Trailer Wiring of 2021 Kia Sorento be Used for Brake Controller Install Brake Circuit

Hello i bought the t-one connector for the sorento 2021 and everything works fine. Now I bought the 7 way adapter with a brake controller. My question is the following, do I still have to connect the red wire of the brake module to the sorento brake switch wire or if the t-one already gives braking information via the blue wire?

This is a really good question. Technically you can use the red wire of the # TK26FR that is before the converter box for the red wire of your brake controller install with the # ETBC7 since this is a dedicated stoplight circuit. Normally you have to run to the brake pedal but this is a clever way around having to do that. A lot of vehicles have the stoplight circuit combined on the turn signal circuit so this isn't possible.
If you are looking for a brake controller for your 2021 Kia Sorento to install with this the Brake EVN # TK63VR would be a great choice as it's proportional and very reliable.
