The Replacement Shoe and Lining Kit # DX28FR is compatible with Dexter 12" x 2" electric trailer brake assemblies for 7,000 lb axles. I checked with Dexter, and this is also the correct replacement for the 6,000 lb brake assemblies. I am not sure which specific brake assembly is on your 6,000 lb Lippert axle, but if you have either of these Dexter assemblies the replacement shoes will work for you.
That being said, it is often a good idea to replace the entire brake assembly rather than use replacement parts. The cost is not much more, especially if you end up needing to replace other parts on your current brake assembly. If you decide to go that route, I recommend the Dexter # 23-105 and # 23-106.
I have attached several review videos for your reference.
