To whom it may concern I was wondering if the Demco swivel Jack trailer tire mount will work on my snowmobile trailer tire with 7 1/4 inch inside rim with 5 lug holes the tire size is 18.5 X 8.5 X 8 thanks in advance for your help

With your rim having an inner diameter of 7-1/4 inches, the Demco Spare Tire Carrier for Bolt-On Swivel Jack - Black # DM15853-76 will end up being a little too large. The place where a wheel secures to it measures right at 8-3/4 inches and will be a little too big for your rim. However, I do have a couple other options for you.

The first will be a little odd, but can work with a lot of different applications. The Erickson Spare Trailer Tire Bracket Kit # EM77316 works with just about any wheel and can be mounted in a bunch of different ways. However, it does have to have something solid to mount to and the tire cannot be free floating, so if you have somewhere this could go, it is highly recommended.

If you do not have somewhere to mount the # EM77316, the CE Smith Offset Spare Trailer Tire Carrier - Galvanized Steel - 4- and 5-Lug Wheels # CE27310G may be the better option. This can be mounted on trailer frames/tongues that are 1" to 3-1/2" wide and up to 4" tall. The Drawback to this is that it cannot carry wheels with a 5 on 5 or 5 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern. I couldn't tell from your picture which you had, so I included an article that will make confirming your bolt pattern a lot easier.
