looking for a bike rack for my 2020 BMW obviously not a hitch mount that will support the trek townie electra step thru bicycle.

If you are looking for a non-hitch mount option to transport your Electra Townie step-thru on your 2021 BMW 3 Series, we do have some options depending on if you have a sedan, wagon, or convertible. According to my research on your Electra Townie, they have a weight of 32 pounds. Depending on the model of Electra Townie you have, I recommend consulting your owner's manual to confirm the weight in order to make sure it falls within the range of the bike rack's maximum weight capacity.

If you have a sedan 2021 BMW 3 Series, I recommend the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack # Y02634. The FullBack 2 comes with a 35 pound per-bike weight capacity. Also, the FullBack 2 includes 4 cam-buckle straps with hooks that secure the rack to your trunk (even with glass hatches). It also includes locks for your rack and your bikes.
