Would Brake Controller Fuse being Blown Cause no Trailer Connection Message on Dash

Question:
Hi just bought a camper all of the lights work brake, turn and running lights however my brake controller does not recognize the trailer. i did find a blown Trailer sub battery 30a fuse. could the bee the root of the issue?

Yes I would say that would be the issue. The brake controller is what is used to sense if a trailer is connected so if your brake controller was not active it would not be able to perform this test.
