Can I use the K71-651 with hydraulic drum brakes?

I have another option for you, but no you cannot use the Dexter DX EOH Actuator For Disc Brakes # K71-651 with hydraulic drum brakes. This is due to the pressure differences in the actuators as they were designed for the different styles of brakes. Disc brakes need an actuator with 1600 PSI where drum brakes use an actuator with around 1000 PSI, which makes these actuators not interchangeable with the other style of brakes.

Since you have hydraulic drum brakes you will need to go with the # K71-650 which is designed for drum brakes and has the correct pressure for the brakes to work correctly.
