Question:
I have a 2006 single axle EZ Loader EXL3000 with surge operated drum brakes. Will your part number K71-651work on my trailer and can I use the existing drum brakes and brake lines? Regards

Helpful Expert Reply:
I have a soluton for you, but the Dexter EOH Actuator # K71-651 is designed for disc brakes and the pressure generated for those would damage the components of drum brakes. Instead I recommend using the Dexter # K71-650 which has 1000 psi and is designed for use with drum brakes. You can use your existing drum brakes and lines with this actuator.
If you don't already have an EOH compatible brake controller, please let me know what your tow vehicle is and I'm happy to get you the best available parts for that, as well.
