Correct Length Shackles and Wet Bolts For A Lippert Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer

I installed this part on my travel trailer using the Morryde shackle kit U012-016 as I saw on the E-Trailer website that they were 100 compatible with the Lippert ones. The shackle length was the same as the OEM ones I took off. I have not driven the vehicle but everything seems to assemble fine. I am a bit worried because I saw that the Lippert kit 862878 has 3 1/8inch shackles vs the Morryde and OEM 2 1/4inch shackles. Should I have used the longer shackles for this upgrade? 2021 Keystone Cougar 22MLS travel trailer

To determine the correct length shackle straps it is best to compare your current equalizer to the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer # LC696740 that you installed on your 2021 Keystone Cougar 22MLS. A basic Equalizer # AP233 that comes on your size camper is generally 2" tall.
The Road Armor is 3-1/2" from the mounting bolt to the center line of the shackle mounting bolts. This is why you see their Kit # LC52SV having the 3-1/8" shackle straps that will keep the spring and axle height closer to the factory setup that uses a 2" tall equalizer.
The Dexter and MORryde options are closet to the measurements of the standard equalizer and that is why their kits show the same 2-1/4" shackles.
