Can these be used directly without the swing out hinge? Meaning, can they be used directly with the corner bracket and no hinge. I need extension for use with flatbeds that dont allow a swing in because the flatbed bed is a constant width.

The Swing Out Extension Brackets # LC182496 can be left in the out position and not swung in.
Since your 2010 Ram 4500 has a flat bed the part I think you are looking for is the HappiJac Extender Bracket # HJ54FR. This is a fixed extender that does not have swing in/out function.
