Recommended Replacement For Brake Assemblies For A 2000 Sooner Exiss Trailer
Published 08/27/2021 >
Question:
Hi! I have DEXTER electric brakes on a 2000 Sooner Exiss Trailer, the numbers off the back of the brake are PR-FF SEC-FF, 6KPR-GG SEC-GG 12x2 DXO 36-89 what is the current part that will replace this? Thanks, i was looking at the ones that say they work for 5200-7000lb axles. Just want to confirm that is the right one. Part number on them is AKEBRK-7-SA. Thank you!

Expert Reply:
Based on the part number you provided the brake assemblies you have are 7k Dexter assemblies that are 12" diameter by 2" wide in size so the # AKEBRK-7-SA you linked to will be a great replacement. This includes assemblies for both sides of your trailer that are self adjusting.
