How To Measure For Replacement Shackles to Install Lippert Road Armor Equalizer

Question:

Good Day, looking in purchasing the road armor and I was wondering what shackles length do I need for my 2018 jayco 28bhbe Travel trailer? Where would I need to measure to determine the length? Is it from center to center bolt on the shackle? Thanks

In order to replace the shackles in your suspension setup you'll want to measure your old ones from bolt hole center to bolt hole center; they can stretch out a bit over time so you'll want to choose the closest match to your existing ones assuming that the Road Armor # LC696740 are a similar width to your existing equalizers. We do not have information on the suspension components on your 2018 Jayco 28BHBE, so you will need to measure.

If you measure and find that you've got 2-1/4" bolt hole to bolt hole then the # MR46ZR are the right length and come with the wet bolts and bushings you'll need. If you need a 3-1/8" measurement then the # MR76ZR will work for you.
